So, Chef Jen and I got hitched last weekend. Woo Hoo!!! It was a simple ceremony out on the beach with just our immediate families. The weather was perfect and a wonderful time was had by all. But somehow we managed to cater our own wedding, in spite of spending the preceding weeks assuring ourselves that it was not going to go that way. I guess we just cannot help it! At the very least, it allowed for plenty of easy leftovers for our honeymoon.
We are spending most of this week on the coast north of San Francisco so I hope we can find a few things to write about when we are not watching the surf and drinking wine. With luck, I will convince Jen that fresh oysters are not all that awful.
Cowgirl Creamery is just up the coast along with the Tomales Bay Oyster Company. With camera in hand, we are heading out for a drive today so we will see what we come up with.
